SPCK cover for the Second Edition of "The Evangelical Universalist"
I have just received this cover from SPCK. Which reminds me I need to crack on and write the blooming thing! Time is running out fast and . . . eeeek! Anyway, here is the cover for the UK. US cover will be about three months away
The biblical hope that God's love will save us all sounds a bit tentative & vague to me...
How about A Biblical Theology case for the Christocentric salvation of everyone?

maybe the way it is speaks better to "hoi poloi"

The cover is quite weak. I thought the US wipf and stick cover was good. And the cover for Universal Salvation: the current debate was gorgeous. How about something a bit more funky this time? : )

I meant to say that the US cover of US: the current debate was gorgeous.
I love TEU but don't think it's aimed at "hoi poloi"? :) Not saying they won't still benefit from the book, just that it would be heavy going for a young Christian, or people who aren't used to thinking about theological issues.
I also love the cover of "All Shall Be Well" and would love to see new front cover for the UK TEU (the US one is good, although a little ambiguous).
Thanks. Those all look like good additions. A scripture index alone adds much value. A friend and I regularly complain that scripture indices should be mandatory for Christian books...

I like it. The hope in question is the biblical variety (i.e., that which does not disappoint)
the main text will remain the same. The following are new
1. foreword
2. a long preface
3. a long appendix offering some responses to critics of the book
4. a scripture index
zat iz it.
