Alas, I have never heard of the Edinburgh Recension. I got this from Ravi's MA thesis (perhaps Ravi got it from Edinburgh).
Did someone in Edinburgh do this cartoon then? Was it in a mag?

Apologies for being so cryptic -- I was just being funny, what with using all these terms from textual criticism.
You're right, I had forgotten that Ravi used it in his MA thesis.
It's just that I think I can see the artistic "emendations" I made to a copy I gave you in Edinburgh several years ago -- but no need to bring in the Art Critics!!

I think it is the "Edinburgh Recension", the far right parasol of which was truncated, then partly emended, and is clearly visible in you copy!
