Faith is ...

I was just thinking of all those "Love is ..." cartoons.

So I thought I'd start a "faith is ..." equivalent.

Here is Paul Tillich

Having faith is ... "to accept the fact that I am accepted, in my total unacceptability."

Not sure that he's right but there is something in what he says.

Yes, it's a good definition, and yet it seems to say so much more than Heb. 11:1

"... being sure of the things we hope for, certain of the things we cannot see".
