Witch Trials

Well, I really enjoyed that, and I'm especially glad they didn't include the Church or Clergy-persons in it.

I know the church was involved in witch burning in the past, and this has always saddened me greatly.

But I think it was also true that it was not the church alone, but part of the harsh world back then - the church unfortunately reflecting some of the worst from the society in which it lived.

Any thoughts, anyone?

You said: "No witches were burnt at the stake in England."

Is that really true? Could you say a little more about this?
